AM740 Liz West’s Replacement Announced
I was just flipping through stations and heard a promo on AM740 announcing that Christine Cardoso was the new afternoon drive’s host starting tomorrow, Feb. 23rd. It took them a while and I actually started thinking they might not replace Liz West as they were rotating their on-air talent on the afternoon show. I am not familiar with Cardoso and look forward to hearing what she’s got!

They already have her featured on their webpage. Previous stations she's been on include CHFI, 97.3 (when it was EZ Rock), CBC Radio and AM640. She's also been known as a voiceover artist.

I tuned in near the end of her first show and was pleasantly surprised! She’s very “up”, has a sense of humour and even gave the time, something new for AM740. She also delivered the news very well so hopefully Christine is a keeper!
