Viewer Alert: Eight Days A Week, The Beatles Touring Years

Sorry for the short notice, but I just discovered that this terrific movie is on WNED in Buffalo at 8 pm Saturday night. Unlike past Beatles specials, it's totally devoted to their grueling tour schedule that started in the Cavern Club and ended in the mid-60s. Directed by Ron Howard (who sadly lost his father today.)

I've seen it on CTV in the past, but this is the broadcast premiere in the U.S. and as an added bonus, this time it's commercial free.

It's followed at 10:30 PM by a previously telecast special on the making of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and audio never heard before.

[Edit] If you miss the touring special, it repeats on Thursday December 7th at 8 PM. Same bat time, same bat channel.
