    A Closer Look At The CBC Olympics Set

    It's based in a studio in downtown Toronto and is nowhere near Milan. But the CBC is reusing an Olympics set it first broke out in 2024, and you can have a closer peek at what it looks like at the link below.

    I have no problem with them reusing a set. Change it up a bit every 2 years & put it back in storage.   As much as I’d love for everyone to still be based in the host city, the economics of sports broadcasting in 2026 says it can be done efficiently remotely now. All those hotels and pet diems add up in the Olympic host city.

    Even the mighty NBC has a fair number of their crews calling events from Stamford CT.
