WTIC-AM in Hartford is a station anyone looking for distant stations has come across countless times. Now the talk outlet at 1080 has turned 100 years old and is showing others how to celebrate such a milestone. The station has put an extensive series of classic broadcasts up on its website stretching all the way back to its beginnings in the 1920s. 

They've also been feted on local TV newscasts.

The bets here are that CFRB will not even mention their big 100th birthday when it happens in Feb. 2027. I know I'd love to hear even some of the classic audio hidden in its vault. They've got a year to prepare. But I'll be surprised if we see them do anything.
