I missed this last week because I don't often listen to Jim Richards on CFRB. But he did a rare moment on radio about radio, with special guests former CFRB host Jay Michaels and ex-MuchMusic VJ and radio DJ George Stroumboulopoulos. 

Both reminisce about how they got into the business almost by accident, their first jobs in the medium, the influence of various stations like Q107 and CFNY, the classic rock song George played before anyone else in the city, and a great story about how Richards and Strombo both plotted to play the same songs at the same time when they were working overnights on two different competing Toronto radio stations.

The stories are fun but I just wish it had gone on longer!
