This obscure 1951 film has a lot of people in it, most of whom you've never heard of. But there are others - like Sarah Vaughan and Tommy Dorsey, whose names have withstood the test of time.
"Disc Jockey" also boasts at least 28 real life DJs, who help come to the rescue of the pic's main hero.
Here's how IMDB describes this old flick:
"A radio disc jockey is about to lose his program's sponsor because the sponsor believes that television viewing is cutting down the size of the listening audience for radio programs, and those featuring platter-spinning radio disc jockeys. He sets out to prove otherwise and calls on 28 disc jockeys in major cities across the United States to help prove his contention."
I doubt this flick will ever hit TV, but there are bits and pieces of it all over YouTube, including this one that shows the credits of all 28 jocks featured in the film. And in this scene, they introduce themselves.
