But ironically, Joe Bowen - who was being feted for being the play-by-play voice of the team for 44 years and is retiring at season's end - wasn't actually doing the call. Instead, the on-ice action came from his son, the voice of the Sudbury Wolves, as dad sat watching the game from a private box.
