Cranky in the Morning

I was up early this morning and caught Moore in the Morning from the top. Within a couple of minutes of the show starting, Moore mentioned that he was cranky this morning. A few minutes later he mentioned it again to a guest. I know we can’t all be “on” all the time, but I found it turned me off having an on-air talent going on about being cranky first thing in the morning, so I switched stations for an hour or so. Fortunately he seemed to cheer up a bit when I checked back in, but still….!

Maybe someone mentioned to him that Jim Richards was better as his sub.  That would tick off anybody.

I was actually surprised how “up” Jim Richards was on Monday morning’s show, he handled it very well so maybe you’re right Walter!

Re: Cranky in the Morning

I've always thought Jim's show is suited for Morning Drive really.
He's a LOT less hard hitting but when the new of the day warrants can take the show in a serious direction.

My perfect morning would be Jim 5:30 - 9:00 then Bill Carrol 9 - Noon ( like the good old days)
Vassey is good at noon .
John Moore for the PM Drive.
