I was a student of John’s at Humber, and then a colleague at Corus when I worked at Q107. He was gentleman and a lovely, lovely guy.

Some well known names have added their condolences on his obituary page, including Dani Elwell and someone named "Tina T." whom I'm guessing may be former 640 news anchor and show host Tina Trigiani.

John was a very kind, talented soul. I always looked forward to seeing him at Q. A family man with no pretence. Never jaded, full of integrity and a joy to work with. He must have been inspiring to his students.
