Origin Of The Word "Broadcasting" Had Nothing To Do With Radio Or TV

Thanks to NPR, I've learned that the word "broadcasting" actually pre-dates any radio or TV signal. Instead, it has its origins down on the farm. Who knew?

'Broadcasting' has its roots in agriculture. Here's how it made its way into media

Interesting read, thanks RA. It is basically the history of radio in the US, there’s info here that I was not aware of! Worth the read.
