Or maybe you will, because the publicity alone would send ratings through the roof. But it will most likely never happen.
Jimmy Kimmel wants Donald Trump on his show: 'I'll ask him'

I think it'd be more fun to have Brendan Carr on the show, Kimmel would slay him on so many levels (and then Carr would probably pull CBS' license afterwards).

I think you mean ABC, but I wouldn't put anything past that jackass.

Whoops, yes ABC not CBS. Obviously Trump as a guest would be good fun (perhaps not for Trump... I foresee that as Jimmy roasts him over and over again, a red dot would appear on Jimmy's forehead signalling that he better lay off the president or he'll get the Charlie Kirk treatment).

Wouldn't be the first time, although this interview took place before Trump's first presidency.

This would be really good if it doesn't turn into something like the half time show at the Super Bowl. If Kimmel and Trump have a real conversation and Trump doesn't monopolize the discussion it would be worth watching. If it just turns into "entertainment" or the prez rhyming off his greatest hits like he usually does then it is only hype and showbiz. Trump feels he is on a roll right now and has such a big ego, it shouldn't be a surprise if he ends up on Kimmel or one of the other late night shows in the not too distant future.
