CBC has given their readers an excellent, detailed and solid coverage of the whole unpleasant scenario that led to Jen leaving.
The timing of this tribunal case feels like there's more to the story and the response from Corus that, as of now, is going unreported.

What do you mean around timing? As I read it, there's nothing new; this is just how long it took to go to trial.
If there is actually more going unreported, it's going to make JD look like a bigger POS than is already evident.

I wish Jennifer all the best in this fight. I went to the same high school as her and I grew up going to school with her brother. They're good people.

So the tribunal has a 3.5 year backlog? That's not really encouraging for plaintiffs.
I wonder how this will play out, most of Corus' top brass when Ms. Valentyne was there are gone.

Jennifer is so brave doing this. And so good at telling her story.
I worked there a few years before she did and everything she is saying is 100% believable.
So grateful she is exposing this stuff.

I find it amazing that Derringer hasn't surfaced at all since this came out in May of 2022.
I expected some kind of "grievance tour" - podcasts, rival stations or something.
Could Corus have made him being silent a condition of the settlement?

Quite likely he was made to sign some sort of NDA to get a settlement.
Here's hoping he never surfaces again.
Maybe some place like Balarat, Australia would take him.

I would expect this to be true. I also know that Derringer is a smart man. He's not about to do anything that could further damage his situation.
