I've come across a lot of strange stories about radio hosts over the years, but they don't get much weirder than this one. An Australian radio host went on a fishing trip in 2023 and never came back. Despite extensive efforts to find him, no trace of the man was ever found. 

So what happened to Roman Butchaski, the host of a fishing-oriented program Down Under? A coroner has determined he was eaten by a crocodile while on a piscatorial trip to a remote area. 

"In her findings published on July 30, coroner Christine Roney said: "The fact that no sign of the missing person was located during the extensive and thorough search leads me to suspect the MP (missing person) has entered the water and has been consumed by a crocodile."

"It is highly probable given the fact that there are large crocodiles which inhabit that section of water."

It's an odd story, but it's brought some comfort to his colleagues, who at last have an answer to the sudden disappearance of their on-air friend so many years ago.
