The Sundance Kid has moved on

Just heard that Robert Redford has passed, he was 89. No details as of yet. R.I.P. Mr. Redford and thank you!

Re: The Sundance Kid has moved on

He was absolutely terrific in The Sting. And almost every movie he starred in. Indecent Proposal being a rare exception. Off the top of my head I believe he was in a Twilight Zone (edit: season 3 ep.16 titled Nothing In The Dark) and played Death.

RIP Mr. Redford, thanks for so many memorable roles.

Re: The Sundance Kid has moved on

Two of my favourite Redford films are The Sting and The Natural.

Another that rarely gets mentioned is Sneakers, one of the early computer hacking films. It has a fantastic cast, including Redford, Sidney Poitier, Dan Aykroyd, River Phoenix, David Strathairn, Ben Kingsley and Mary McDonnell.

I liked The Candidate, with him and Peter Boyle.  Brubaker was really good too.

Cheers,
