    Veteran Newsman's Last Broadcast On Sunday

    This isn't local, but it is something of a milestone. One of the last of the original CBS News greats, Bob Schieffer, will officially do his final broadcast on Sunday morning, ending an incredible career at the network that spanned 46 years! That's a remarkable run in this era of dispensible personnel that may never quite be matched.

    Iconic guy...CBS Sunday Morning did a piece last December for the JFK anniversary memorial thingy.  They showed footage of Schieffer on-site as cub reporter at the Book School Depository then at the hospital.  True veteran !

    Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs...
