Way back in 1983, Ken Dryden passed through the small southwestern Ontario town where I got my start in radio. He was promoting his first book “The Game” and very graciously gave ten minutes of his time for an interview with a star struck kid who had never met an NHL legend before. I’d give almost anything for a picture of that encounter. Thanks Mr. Dryden and RIP.

If you lived in my area when Ken was a Liberal MP in York Centre, he may have knocked on your door, asking for your vote and signed the campaign brochure during the election.
He took over from Art Eggleton, the previous Liberal incumbent.
