Mark Volman, co-founder of The Turtles, passes away at 78

The Turtles co-founder and singer had been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia in 2020, but continued to perform during the early stages of the disease.

Volman, along with bandmate Howard Kaylan, joined Frank Zappa's band The Mothers of Invention after The Turtles broke up and also made music under the moniker of Flo & Eddie.

Was it 15 years ago that CBC TV ran a retro show quite similar to 2018 'From The Vaults' that featured David Cassidy with Flo and Eddy singing and dancing back-up. (The dancing was unintentionally hilarious)
Taped in Winnipeg of all places.
Volman had great music stories, my favorite being how Springsteen could only sing in tune when holding a guitar.

Here's an interesting video where Volman and Kaylan talk about their managerial and legal issues, which lasted from 1966 to 1974.
