Ottawa radio station founder has passed

Sad news from the radio scene in our nation's capital... Harvey Glatt, founder of long-time Ottawa rocker CHEZ 106, has died. Glatt owned radio stations in Ottawa and Smiths Falls before selling them to Rogers around the late '90s.

In this YouTube video are some sound bites from Glatt on the big ownership shakeup in the capital in the late '90s, plus some shots of CHEZ's studios at the time, in the Byward Market.

A mentor to many in the Canadian Music and Broadcast industries, including me. RIP Harvey. Condolences to Richard and the family.
