The days of the big trailers and personal appearances are mostly long gone from the annual fall fair, but this year a variety of radio stations will at least have a small presence at the CNE. It comes in sponsorships of the concerts being held at the Bandshell.
But they're not necessarily the stations you'd expect. For example, in the ad for the Ex's free concerts, published this weekend in the Toronto Star (also a sponsor of these artists) there's nary a CHUM-FM or CHFI in sight. Instead, there's a plethora of performances brought to you by Indie 88.1, Q107, 94.9 The Rock, AM740 and in one case, even Hot Country 88.5 or Flow. Even Z103.5 and Brantford's 92.1 gets in on the action.
Notice the logos beside each show.

The CNE cat show page is showing that Zoomer radio & Classical 96 are media partners this year.
(They are also identified as media partners for the Dog show)
Surprisingly, Food products day does NOT show Flow 98.7 as being involved this year (as of this posting)

As a person who has gone to the Ex virtually every year for the past few decades(I live in Buffalo), I'll stick with the NORMAL food in the Food Building, TYVM. Not even the Deep Fried Pizza Slice on a Stick tempts me.
