    Christmas Commercials Already?

    Just saw a Walmart commercial for Christmas lights, though they are also advertising them as Halloween lights. Give me a break. Who the heck uses purple lights for Halloween? I guess we should be seeing Christmas trees in Costco any day now.

    Folks celebrating Diwali often use strings of Christmas lights to decorate their houses.

    It's on October 19 this year.

    Having said that, I've already seen Halloween and Christmas stuff for sale at Dollarama.  Sheesh!

    I saw some Thanksgiving cards yesterday at Chapters. It appears they attempting to monetize Thanksgiving the way they have done with Christmas and, to a lesser extent, Halloween.
