Well you know Fall is just round the corner when the CNE shuts down and Numeris releases its Summer 2017 ratings for the five PPM markets that include Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

You may notice a difference between David Bray's numbers and those supplied to me by Bell Media Research. That is because Bell only lists commercial radio stations. Remember, ratings are all about showing advertisers how many people hear their spots. Or for potential advertisers to show them how they are better than the competition.
Bell leaves out the CBC ratings because the public broadcaster doesn't accept advertising except for the few spots on CBC Radio One.
So when you take out two stations (CBC Radio One and CBC Radio Two) from the mix, it changes the averages in Bell's PPM numbers. It's apples to apples and not apples to oranges (CBC). That's why bonuses aren't based on ratings that include the CBC.
