The ubiquitous Spence Diamonds spots have been on the air for months if not years now, but there's one thing about them I never did figure out - just who are they aiming their ads at?
The latest one has the "owner" Michael telling his lackeys about what an incredible price his latest special is going for. The amount: "Less than $10,000!" So probably $9,999.99
Who, exactly, has 10 grand handy in this day and age to throw away on a piece of jewelry? I don't know of a single person trying to pay the bills who could manage it. Yet it's sloughed off like it's a real deal and we're lucky to be getting it.
Maybe they should change the name from Spence to Expense. Too rich for my blood. And I'm betting most of everyone else's, too.

In other words, you'll be paying it off long after the marriage has ended.

Or you can take it to Oliver jeweler's or that South African guy... maybe Jack Berkowitz?
Pawn Stars?
They'll give you a few hundred bucks for it.

WIth that, Spence should probably concentrate their ad budget with 680 News, as that's where the higher income earners hang out, at least based on the car ads.
