In Your Ear: Ever Wonder What Baseball's "PitchCom" Sounds Like?

It's a relatively new audio device for Major League Baseball - the PitchCom, which allows catchers and pitchers to figure out what's coming as they face an opposing batter, a replacement for those old "finger signs" that were around for eons.

So what does it sound like? They gave viewers a sample on a recent New York Mets broadcast. If you're curious, you can have a listen here.

Can't wait for the Houston Astros to try and find a way to listen in on the opponent's PitchCom.

Now where did I put that garbage can lid?
