2 Toronto radio hosts that sound refreshing and pretty good too!
First of all Brad Smith has been filling in for Alex Pierson on 640 Toronto, this week. He brings media experience and a big friendship with host Ben Mulroney, plus his dad is the ex-Alouette and CFL commissioner, Larry Smith.
Brad himself had a football career and has done work on TV mostly and now radio. I find him quick, engaging and can keep it light, when needed.
As for other host, Jeff Chalmers at Jazz FM is a good replacement for Brad Barker, who signed off after a 25 year career at that station.
I must admit it takes time getting used to a new voice, however it seems this transition to a new host has gone well.
