"Radio Optimism" Generates Original A.I. Songs For Your Special Person

This isn't really radio, per se, although it's in the name. But because it's so unusual, it's something you'll probably want to try anyway.

LG, the electronics company, has set up a website called "Radio Optimism." It's truly bizarre but it's certainly fascinating. The site asks for your name (or an alias if you'd prefer) and the object of your affection. I used "Aaron" because I never give my real name on these kinds of sites. You're then asked for the name of the object of your affection. I chose my beautiful dog, Smiley.

Next you're asked why you want to make up a tune for your significant other. I said it's because he's the greatest dog on the planet.

The following page gives you a range of styles to choose from, like R&B, Punk, Romantic and more. Pick the one you want and it's on to the next step, where A.I. creates a tune (with words) to match whatever you entered. It takes about 2 minutes and your tune is ready to listen to.

It's not The Beatles or (even "Seasons In The Sun") but it comes up with a song to match your original input. You can then choose to just save the URL for yourself or post it to their online "radio" station for everyone to hear.

You can try it here, but be aware if you're on a VPN, it may not let you access the site.

If you do try it and want to keep it, make sure to save it locally to your computer or it eventually disappears.
