More Corus Layoffs In Cornwall?
I'm hearing rumours of more Corus layoffs, this time at its stations in Cornwall. Can anyone confirm?

It wasn't reported last week but I saw when all the other layoffs happened that Darryl Adams was removed from boom Cornwall and the morning show at fresh was removed at that time too.

It wasn't reported last week but I saw when all the other layoffs happened that Darryl Adams was removed from boom Cornwall and the morning show at fresh was removed at that time too.
Looking on Boom 101.9’s site. They only have the morning show host listed on there. Also on 104.5 Fresh Radio’s site they have Fresh middays hosted by no one and the Fresh afternoons hosted by Cairo from 2-7PM and the Pop 20 hosted by Toni Ross who is from 103.1 in London.

I could be wrong but I don't think Corus has any live, local hosts left at its Fresh Radio 100.5 in Peterborough as of a couple months ago. This is the FM derivative of Peterborough's oldest radio station, CHEX, which went to air in 1942 and was later renamed CKRU for its Kruze oldies format. Also had been the home of legendary longtime newscaster John Badham.

You are correct, I believe.
They had left longtime host Dani Guppi there, but Durham scooped her up for their new acquisition. Probably didn’t take much convincing!
They also have no local hosts at either Kingston station or Boom Ottawa.

I haven’t heard anything, but the way you posted that makes me think you have.
Problem is, no obvious holes in the market.
They could do their Classic Alternative thing I guess. Would be a receptive market for that.
