I am missing his call of the Jays games. While I enjoy the job Ben is doing, I am wondering if Dan is taking a break. And while I am wondering, where is Buck?

Actually, I've noticed that Ben isn't on the radio, replaced by someone else. Not really crazy about the sub - he has a way of making every play sound dull. Hope Ben returns soon.

Ben has been on TV, filling in for his dad, who is hopefully just taking some time off.
Filling in for Ben on the radio is Raptors' radio play-by-play man Eric Smith.

Well that explains it. I don't get Sportsnet, so I wasn't aware. Thanks for the explanation. I'm not crazy about Mr. Smith's baeball calls. Perhaps he's better on the Raptors broadcasts. Hope things are back to normal on radio soon.
As for Dan Shulman, are there any ESPN commitments he might still have?

Nope, he and Buck take vacation time every year

There was a Toronto Sun article last week where Buck Martinez said he was going to be back on June 30 for a series versus the Yankees, then he’s taking a month off for his 50th wedding anniversary. He’ll be there for August and September.
He currently calls 100 games per season, which I’m sure is what he wants to do at this stage in his career. He is 76 years old after all.

One place we know the senior Shulman has been is talking to the Toronto Star about his son.
Inside the Blue Jays broadcast booth, Ben Shulman finds his own voice, as dad Dan calls games next door
