Cabin Radio, which for the moment is an Internet only radio station on the west coast as it tries for a licence from the CRTC, is - if nothing else - a master of promotion. They've set up what Toronto viewers might call a sort of Speakers Corner-like booth for a show in Yellowknife.
Except this one is in a replica of an outhouse. People who enter the faux bathroom find it furnished only with some soundproofing material and a single mic, where listeners can say whatever they want. (I will refrain from using the expression "talking shit.")
The idea is fun until something happened those at the station didn't expect. And no, it's not what you think.
