The news was confirmed by Dave Bradley on air during Tuesday morning's newscast.
What happens to Kevin Frankish?
That he didn't say.

That’s kind of crap for Frankish. Brady quit his job to run and that should be that. Besides, he’s average, should have kept Frankish.

We don't know yet. Perhaps they might find a place for Frankish. So far, he hasn't said a word about where - or if - he's going.

Frankly, Frankish is f*****.
That alliterative observation by me is almost as bad as all these latter day scribes, who just have to trip over themselves to insert puns into headlines. Niagara Falls Review is especially bad for this. The question that needs asking: Is it the reporter's fault, or the editor's? 🤔

No, he did not.

My favourite moment of the post-election yakking on talk radio came Tuesday morning, when CFRB's John Moore and John Tory were going over some of the more notable names who did and didn't win.
They listed off a number of ridings and full names of those involved and finally got to Ajax. Moore told his listeners that Jennifer McKelvie beat - and then there was a short pause, as though he was considering what to say, before continuing with "a radio host."
No need to put out the actual moniker of the guy who's about to be on opposite you!

The audience isn't stupid, Mr. Moore, don't treat them as such. Also, what is it exactly that you do for a living? Oh, right...you're a radio host.

640 is simply loaded with losing...Brady returns to shed some right wing tears with his MAGA listeners and Ben 'E-Talk PM's son' Mulroney will be eating leftover crow for a week...good on them.

The station is now running promos for Brady's return. Have to admit that first show back is something I definitely want to hear. I'll be curious about what he has to say and his reflections on leaving his job, only to wind up losing the position he departed to try for.

And now that he's had a chance to reintroduce and ingratiate himself to the audience, I won't be shocked if Kevin Frankish becomes 640's new "go to" fill in host.

Good point. The last segment of Frankish's Friday show should be worth hearing, as well, just to see if he gives any hint about his future there.

Frankish could stay in Brady's abandoned spot, or replace The Great Interrupter from noon to 3, with no loss.
