I tune into 680 Newsradio basically every single time I drive.
Chloe B and Andy P were the anchors for the evening show last night.
Kate H anchored overnight.
This morning John L and Kaitlyn L anchored. I was surprise to here Chloe B to be announcing traffic at 6am when she ended 12:30am.
Is there a labour law where an employee must have a rest time between shifts?

Early morning traffic on a holiday can easily be recorded the night before.

AFAIK, you have to have a minimum of eight hours between the end of one shift and the start of the next.
Possible that Chloe B stepped in to cover for someone scheduled or offered to cover a gap in the schedule. I worked all kinds of crazy shifts when starting out, trying to make my bones.

Is it possible she volunteered to pick up the extra shift? Good Friday is a stat and that means overtime rates. Doing a double would bring quite a payday.

At least part of one of these would have been recorded, likely the traffic.

Not as a rule, but it 100% happens.

At 680? No you are wrong. Sorry. 680 Is the only station left in the city that is always live 24/7 365. Always have an anchor and traffic working a shift.
