CP24's broadcast: their weak week in graphic detail

With thanks to Simon Dingley for sharing this and Don McLean for capturing the fox paw.

Some CP24 staffer pulled a blank, literally. This effort gives new meaning to "weeking havoc."

How does this even happen!? 🤨

Re: CP24's broadcast: their weak week in graphic detail

Broadcasters in general have become lax on the weekends. I heard at least three dead air “breaks”, on different radio stations this weekend. On the TV side, I also noticed the same commercial running in the same break, which is not unheard of, but seemed odd.

My favourite though was a news break on Radio One, I believe it was Neil Kumar, he was alright but every sound bite had nothing to do with the news he just delivered. You could hear his frustration, sheets of paper being moved etc., and they bailed early, so their theme music played for about 30-45 seconds after he was done. I felt for the guy.
