She hosted many TV specials in Canada on CBC. Her CBC special in 2005, Music Is My Life had over 7 million viewers. In the US, Anne hosted five specials on CBS, all of them had over 40 million viewers each according to wiki. In the early 70's she was a regular on Glen Campbell's weekly variety show on CBS.
Anne Murray was also one of the first and most successful cross over artists in the US, consistently having hit albums and singles on both the pop and country charts. Billboard magazine named her the 10th biggest Adult Contemporary artist of all time in their top 50 list in 2011.
