The 60 sec. campaign, which is running on all of Moses Znaimer's properties, asks advertisers to remember Canadian media when they're buying time to tubthump their organizations. It complains too many companies from banks to mobile phone providers are putting their money into American online sites like YouTube and Facebook.
The idea: bring the money home and share those dollars with Canadian companies that do business here. (Unsaid of course is that those sites attract more eyes and ears than any of the Zoomer properties.) But it's the latest attempt to stop the flow of Canuck bucks over the border.
The campaign can be heard on AM740, Classic 96.3 and Vision TV, among others.

Kudos to Zoomer Media for initiating this! I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of this type of thing in the days to come. Elbows up!

Nice to see Zoomer Media taking the initiative. If the current US government is really out to crush Canada economically, our media will play a big part to counter whatever Mr. Trump and company have in store. Should things get really nasty (let's hope it doesn't) I can see people and companies boycotting US media. If that happens more advertising will be repatrioted. But advertising overall will take a big hit with economic uncertainty.
