Microsoft Hanging Up Permanently On Skype
If you use this service to bypass long distance or for phone calls, you'll soon be getting a permanent busy signal, as Skype gets spiked. Not radio related, per se, but an important tech story for some and in a Zoom-world, kind of the end of an era.

Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Zencastr, WhatsApp and more have overtaken Skype. It always amazed me that Zoom was ready when Covid showed up.

I don’t use Skype or Microsoft Teams. I use FaceTime which is more easier unless someone in my family has an iPhone.

Let's Zoom in on the options and Face the fact that Skype was done once the Pandemic first came to be.
I don't know anyone who said "let's Skype".
Zoom seemed to be everywhere, for both business and personal use.
There were a few Facetimers, but Zoom really seemed to take over in a major way.
When I first heard about Zoom, I wondered whatever happened to Skype. It was there, but I honestly could not find anyone using it.
