I don’t use Skype or Microsoft Teams. I use FaceTime which is more easier unless someone in my family has an iPhone.

Let's Zoom in on the options and Face the fact that Skype was done once the Pandemic first came to be.
I don't know anyone who said "let's Skype".
Zoom seemed to be everywhere, for both business and personal use.
There were a few Facetimers, but Zoom really seemed to take over in a major way.
When I first heard about Zoom, I wondered whatever happened to Skype. It was there, but I honestly could not find anyone using it.
