    Something is fishy with 680 Citynews Radio

    Yesterday had an election special news broadcast 8pm-12am with Mitch Burke and Laura Carnay.

    What's interesting is that afternoon sports was covered by John Letherby while 2:30pm-8:00pm were anchored by Maria Kestane and (back fromthe sport chair) Alex Seixeiro.

    Today listened to the afternoon drive, Alex is back to the sports desk while Alex Bloomfield and Laura are anchoring.

    Casually looked at Alex Bloomfield's Twitter/X with his title as Afternoon Drive News Anchor.

    Very curious what happened with this change.

    Changes, yes, but not fishy. Alex S opted to go back to sports. Alex B is in. Mitch remains on evenings and on election nights. Afternoon drive staffing will change on nights when resources are redeployed to special shows.
