It's a deep dig through the archives of the BBC, reliving a single decade from its radio archives. It starts in the 1940s and continues all the way through the 1990s. Each show relives each decade with headlines, music, audio and commentary from the specified era and runs about 90 minutes.
Some of the stories reviewed are understandably very British, and you may not be familiar with the history, which preoccupied the Brits but never made a big splash across the pond. I kind of liked the 60s episode, which dealt - among other things - with the dividing line between the early 60s music and the coming of the Beatles.
