Just a heads up for Buffalo area OTA viewers that WNED-DT recently added subchannel 17-10 to their line up. The content is a live cam view off their downtown Buffalo studios, located near the Skyway. Their are two audio streams: WNED-FM and WBFO-FM. Using your SAP selector should allow you to toggle between each. Note the audio level is much louder than WNED TV, so be ready to knock the volume down.
This service isn't new and has been running for years as a hidden service within their transport. Some off-brand TV's would detect it as a valid service and map it as 31-10. I was told some time back that the service (specifically WNED-FM) was put there as a backhaul for Rogers. The reason it will now be visible to all TV's is that it is now defined in WNED's TVCT stream. This stream is part of the ATSC standard to identify the services to your TV when it locks on to the transport stream. If your set doesn't automatically add it when you next tune WNED-DT, you may need to do a rescan.

I am sure that WNED doesn't want to see any tariffs on either side of the border. It could be fatal for the station if ticked off Canadians were no longer financially supporting them. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if some damage has already been done, and some on this side of the border have decided not to write the cheque this year for "quality" programming.
