This happens only a few times a year - and Tuesday morning is one of them. The stars and tropo have aligned to bring in Channel 67 (WBBZ-TV), the low power station from Buffalo and its 8 different subcarriers. If you've ever wanted to tune this in or rescan your TV to acknowledge its existence, this is your chance. You will almost certainly need an outdoor antenna to get it, but it's worth a try no matter what your set-up.
There may well be other rare signals you can catch, as well.
But don't wait to take a look. In my experience, these things don't last long. It's 7:43 AM as I type this and it will likely be gone soon. It's rare but it's nice to know it can still happen despite the weak signal and all the obstructions in the way.

How long did the reception last? Perhaps it will return this evening.

In my experience, it's usually only there for about an hour, maybe two if you're lucky. I just checked and all the signals are long gone. But it was fun while it lasted! I just wish it would happen a little more often.
