    Is This Buck Martinez's Final Season Broadcasting The Jays' Games?

    Brian Lilley in the Sun quotes a piece from rival Globe & Mail that leads him to believe Martinez, the longtime Sportsnet voice of the Jays on TV, may not be heading for extra innings at the job next season. In addition to a battle with cancer and the joys of trying to dodge COVID, Martinez is now 73.

    He's a subpar play-by-play announcer.  He's good at color but not play-by-play.  People here are just used to him.

    Totally agree. I prefer Dan Shulman for Jays play by play duties.
