Every DX-er Can Relate

Saw this headline in the New York Post:

Astronomers detect radio signal billions of light-years away

Unfortunately, it faded out just as they were about to I.D. themselves!

Re: Every DX-er Can Relate

Were they waiting for Peter Schilling's Major Tom to hurry up and finish?

When my girlfriend and I were in Gananoque recently, there was an AM station playing ZZ Top on 900 KHz, which I think was from upstate New York.  I missed the ID on it so I'm  not 100%.  So i can understand the frustration.

I suspect you received 1000 watt Classic Rock formatted WBRV in Boonville which is located about 48 miles south of Watertown.
