CBC Marketplace Investigation Results In Arrests
There's been a fair amount of debate on the value of CBC television and the direction it's taking. Whatever your opinion, most people can agree there are some CBC shows that do a lot of good for Canadians. And the justice system. Investigative reporting has always been one of the jewels in CBC's crown, CTV as well.
Reading this was very satisfying, and watching it will be fascinating.

I'm glad the police did something about it this time.
If I go into a store and shoplift, presumably the police can arrest me, but so many people who had their belongings held hostage by the moving companies when they call the police, are told it's a civil matter and they won't do anything. I hope these arrests are a new trend.

There is very little that CBC Television airs that is of interest to me. However, Marketplace is appointment viewing on Friday nights for me.
