What most local DXers remember as the all-night home of the great Larry Glick is turning 100 years old on Sept. 19th and the station has been honouring itself on air for the anniversary. Its website contains vintage photos and timelines of the legendary moments in its long and storied history, ranging from the 1930s all the way up to today. There's even a pic of an impossibly young-looking Jefferson Kaye, who would later program another legendary Top 40 station, WKBW in Buffalo.
Worth a look if you're a radio history buff or simply enjoyed listening to its 50K clear channel signal on 1030 all these years. Makes you wonder why stations like CFRB so often ignore their own milestones.

Many of WBZ names are very familiar to me. I would often go to sleep listening to Glick/Raleigh/Nathan. Nice to be able to match voices and pictures.
