"Jeopardy!" Announcer Still Going Strong - At 92!

Johnny Gilbert knows his job is in Jeopardy - only in this case, that's a good thing. Alex Trebek may be gone but one of the originals is still with the show and has been for 37 years (and counting.) Incredibly, he's still doing those intros at the tender age of 92.

Remarkable.

Johnny Gilbert, the voice of ‘Jeopardy!’, keeps going at 92

He doesn’t look - or sound - 92.

Amazing.

One of the few times he’s been shown on camera was in the Cheers episode where Cliff Clavin appears on Jeopardy - this would’ve been in 1990. Johnny looks almost the same as now; he would’ve been 61 at the time.

Man! With a set of powerful pipes like his, and at 92 no less, I just listen in awe at every show.

Don Pardo, the original Jeopardy announcer, and later the voice of Saturday Night Live was with us until the age of 96.
