After all the disputes, Shoan was ousted and took his gripes about the CRTC straight to the courts, eventually reaching all the way to the Supreme Court. Or at least he tried. They've now decided not to decide his fate and it likely won't make him very happy.

It's been a long time, but Raj Shoan is back. The former CRTC Commissioner is the new head of Friends of Canadian Media. I wonder what will happen the first time he appears before some of his old colleagues, who weren't exactly happy with him when he served on the federal agency.
