Aside from CBC, 680 News, GNR 640 and NT 1010 which Toronto radio stations still run any sort of newscast or even have a newsreader reading headlines? I don't really listen to the music stations anymore so I don't know if there is any news at all on the drivetime shows on Q, Virgin Radio, CFNY, CHFI etc. Do the Rogers stations carry something from 680 and the Bell stations carry headlines CTV News Toronto, Corus stations carry Global News? Do the DJs just read the headlines themselves or is news completely ignored aside from entertainment news and gossip?

Stingray's Boom 97.3 in the morning has a feature called "Fast 5"
5 news headlines with as much detail as possible in as little time possible, read by Stu Jeffrey's himself.

MZ Media. AM 740 and Classical 96.3 FM have regular newscasts throughout the day. Not every hour, or during the overnight hours.

CHFI runs a brief (60 second-ish) 680 package most hours.

It's about that, but they don't brand it that way.

Are 680, GNR, and CBC the only stations left with actual radio news reporters?
