Thursday, August 20th, Is "National Radio Day"

Who knew there even WAS a National Radio Day (as opposed to World Radio Day, which is celebrated in February)? This is primarily a U.S. event, but I'll be interested to see if anyone mentions it locally on Thursday.

Further down there is a mention of a site called foreverchristmasradio.com. It has apparently been around for 12 years. I can't stand listening to "Holiday" Hits in November. There is zero chance I would ever check it out.

National Radio Day is a great day for people in radio to remind other people in radio about how great they are.
