I suspect they don't make any even with they are playing.

I would love to see their revenues and expenditures during the oldies days compared to now (or last year).

Too bad they had to scrub the season but it was likely the right move. Never was a fan of the federal government loaning or granting them money. Last year they lost $20 million.
Contrary to what many think, the TSN deal is not the leagues main source of revenue. Ticket sales bring in most of the money along with all of the other sources from live games. Six of the nine teams are owned by individuals or organizations.
Hopefully the CFL will be back for 2021 and it will be interesting to see how this impacts the TSN $50 million per year agreement. I think the exclusive TV contract with one pay sports network was a bad move for the league overall. They should have stuck with either CBC or independent over the air stations for some of the games and not put all of their eggs with TSN which I believe has overall hurt attendance. Much the same as major league baseball when they were no longer on network television and only on pay channels...attendance went down..

It was the best excuse for TSN 1150 to go all sports though.
(I still say they should have kept the music though, but oh well...thankfully 1220 is signing on soon!)
