Listened to bits and pieces of Boom's Top 100 yesterday and I really liked the many stories and trivia bits that Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings  related on the show. Some interesting and funny stuff.
 
I thought the music this year however wasn't as interesting as other years. Looking at the list on the website at the actual top 100 was pretty safe with some artists showing up 4,5,6 times.  

But I guess this is what people voted for, so i suppose all songs were legit.  Would have been nice to see a bit more variety of artists with a few gems that normally don't get much airplay but were decent hits back in the day. 

Anyway good on boom for putting this together, I am going to try and find the Classic Rock Top 100 that ran on some stations.

K96.3 in Kelowna was one of those stations.

Listening to boom's top 100 on the deck with a cold beer this afternoon. Sounds good, Spirit of the West on right now.  Really enjoy all the ID's from various artists and the breaks with Randy and Burton. Some funny interesting stories..
