Yes, I realize this article isn't about Southern Ontario Radio or Television, but the 407 sale was certainly covered by every media outlet in town at the time.
I have a few friends who will NEVER drive on the 407 because it was sold out from under us. I have not set a tire on that highway in several years and do not plan to in the future, but it's always there should the need arise...with of course, the fees going to a foreign country.

Probably not very well at the eastern terminus, especially after sunset. If one has to pay the toll, there must be a less expensive way of tuning in WFIR-Roanoke on a car radio.
