Every day now for about 2-3 weeks, we hear the name SNC Lavalin and the scandal, or the affair, or case, and every news cast, has been talking about the scandal...
Does a scandal like this give SNC Lavalin, amazing media exposure? I mean they are on "Prime time" every freaking day and hour almost.
My sense is this kind of media attention cannot be bad for the brand? That bad press is good press...
What's your take?
Because, if it was harming them (SNC) wouldn't there lawyers ask the news reporters, talk show pundits and the like to refrain from using the term "SNC Lavalin Scandal" and refer to it as the Liberal Party of Canada scandal...as that is really what this is about.
Comment away...

How many of those 9,000 staff are guilty of criminal activity in your opinion? All executives or just those who cheer for the Habs?

I don't know much about snc, nor do i really care. but i figure that a multi-national accused of bribery in other countries.... their clients should not be particularly surprised that the company's home country has leveled charges. in many countries, its simply a cost of doing business. sadly.
